[Surfnetkids] Facebook Fun for Pi Day and St. Patrick’s Day

Dear Reader,

Because tomorrow is Pi Day, and St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner, I couldn’t wait until the regular Wednesday newsletter to tell you about the newest Surfnetkids project.

Are you on Facebook yet? (If not, you really should go right now and sign up. Grownups like us are the fastest growing demographic on Facebook. But perhaps the best reason to get on Facebook is to be able understand what kids are doing today. And Facebook is what the kids are doing!)

Anyway, on Facebook, have you ever tagged a friend or yourself in a photo? If so, you know how you get a notice on your wall whenever you are tagged. And your friends also get a note when they are tagged in a photo. All this is just to set the stage for:

Introducing fun, family-friendly Surfnetkids Wall Photos to celebrate Pi Day and St. Patrick’s Day. Download one of our wall photos, post it to your Facebook account (or to one of a friend) and tag your friends. Just another fun way to use the power of Facebook to interact with your friends, and celebrate these holidays.

Here is the Surfnetkids Wall Photos site:

Since this is a brand-new creation, I really want your feedback. I have a lot of ideas for new stuff, but I want to make sure I am moving in the right direction. What do you think? Are these fun? Should we make more?

You can post your comments on my blog, or on the Tag.Surfnetkids.com site directly.

Cheers,

Barbara J. Feldman
