Paper Bag Bat Puppet
Paper bag puppets are probably the simplest type of puppet that you can make. The paper bag has already been made to accommodate puppet making with very little effort. To start, you will need a paper bag and some construction paper (or you can use white paper and color it with crayons or markers). Cut out facial features and attach them to the face of the bag puppet (which is actually the bottom of the bag if the bag were to be opened). If you do not want to work with scissors, simply color this portion of the bag to look like the face of a bat. Make the wings of the bat by cutting out a semi circle to the diameter that you want the wings to be. Scallop the edge of the circle that is straight and then adhere the wings to the back of the bag. That is all that it takes! If you happen to have other materials like puff paint, wiggly eyes, etc. feel free to add more detail to your bat bag puppet.
