Making bats from handprints is not only easy but it also makes for a great sentimental craft that can serve as a reminder to you of how your child has grown. To make a handprint bat start by outlining and then cutting out two hand prints out of paper (again you can use colored paper or color in white paper). These handprints will serve as the wings of the bat. To make the body of the bat, cut out an oval and decorate the face like a bat. You can get templates online to make a more specific or detailed body shape if you wish. Again, feel free to add embellishments like pipe cleaner ears, felt wings instead of paper wings, etc.
