Getting back to more serious subjects, I was fascinated by this great article on study skills in the New York Times yesterday. I already posted this on the Surfnetkids Facebook page but if you didn’t see it there (you should join me on Facebook), here goes.
All that advice about creating a clean, quiet, regular place to study, such as a well-light, uncluttered desk in your bedroom? It’s NEVER been proven.
In fact, study after study show that studying in multiple locations works better than just studying in the same place all the time. Here’s the New York Times article. You’ll need to create a free NYTimes account in order to read it.

P.S. L’Shana Tova! Happy New York to my Jewish readers celebrating Rosh Hashana this week.
See ya on the Net,
