To make melted wax windows, simply take a large square of wax paper and spread colored crayon shavings on the paper. Spread them in a design that you think looks like a stained glass window. You can use a template, much like the poster board one that was explained in the tissue paper stained glass window that was explained above, to arrange your was shavings in a specific pattern. Place another layer of wax paper on top and iron until the wax shavings are all melted. Allow your stained glass to dry completely before touching it as it will be very hot at first. Use a photo frame that has a clear back (so that two pieces of glass sandwich the art in the middle) to display your piece where sun will be allowed to shine through it.
