This is a quick and easy project that packs in a lot of fun. This will remind your family of summer long after the heat waves have passed.
What you’ll need:
- Wax paper
- White craft glue
- Different colored glitter
- Fishing wire
Instructions for the project-
Give each child a sheet of wax paper and instruct them squeeze the bottle of craft glue onto the paper in various shapes and squiggles. Then have them liberally sprinkle the glitter onto the glue. (Try putting glitter into inexpensive saltshakers.) Be sure to let the glue dry thoroughly at least 6 hours or overnight. Carefully peel the designs off the paper and pierce them with fishing wire. Hang them in front of your windows to catch and refract the sunlight.
