I spotted this list on YouTube. My favourites on the list are War of Rights followed by Ultimate General Civil War both of them are brilliant. I've also tried Grand Tactician: The Civil War but found it a bit rough around the edges when I played it. Hopefully the developers can improve the game...

Agree with this summation. Am unaware of any Civil War veterans actively fighting in WW1. (CW veteran Peter Hains rejoined the military in 1917 and served on active duty, but not overseas on a fighting front).

At the time of the Civil War, three sizes of siege and seacoast mortars were common and considered standard: the 8-inch, the 10-inch, and the 13-inch mortar. 8-inch and 10-inch siege mortars had a maximum ranges of 2,225 and 2,064 yards, respectively, but their effective ranges were much shorter.
