I did my driving test elsewhere, so cannot help with specifics about the White Plains testers or area. However, I think you're doing yourself a disservice if you haven't taken drivers ed or a couple of pre-test sessions with a driving instructor who can assess your skills objectively and let you know where your bad habits are.
