On another W530, I'm trying to install the ThinkVantage fingerprint software. Again, the installer stops responding. My MS Office programs crash when I open an associated fille. This doesn't happen after a restart, But eventually, after days or even weeks, when I try to open a file (usually Word or Excel) it opens for a second and then crashes.

I therefore just reinstall Win11 as a repair install, and that fixed it, BUT I have lost the fingerprint/PIN Hello functionality. I can do the setup of both but it does not create the Fingerprint sign-in option.

Then it start-up Automatic Repair, and I click Advanced options then it says to choose an option. So I chose to troubleshoot, then I chose to reset this PC but keep its files, But it wants a password to do that, And I forgot my password all I know is my PIN and my Fingerprint.
I forgot my password on my Microsoft account and I cant change it ...

Hello, I have a problem with my Microsoft windows account and I cant sign into it because I forgot the password. When I click "Forgot my PIN" it says "Just a moment" and loads for 5 seconds then it gets back and every time I do this is always the same. I tried so many things: Created a Administrator account and tried to change the password when I run netplwiz but it didn't work. I think it ...

When it became available in the previous update versions of Windows 10, I could set up the pin code and fingerprint reader as login options, but the camera would never work correctly even though every driver was installed by Windows Update. Is there a definitive way to get the driver to be recognized by 1903 and allow me to set up Windows Hello?
