Blue Crab Festival Palatka, Florida Who would have thought a slimy little crustacean could cause all this hoopla? With crabs boiling, music bopping and libations flowing, Palatka's Blue Crab Festival has established itself as a bona fide North Florida phenomenon. Always Memorial Day Weekend.

I can use as much help as I can get...I have never done any crabbing before but it sounds like so much fun I would really love to try it. My family and I will be staying in Frisco for a week over Memorial Day weekend.

(4) Crab pots already on board a boat at the end of the time periods specified in §A (1) (c) of this regulation may be set during a period of 1 hour immediately following those time periods.

We're always crabbing Memorial Day weekend. Counting down the days until the cold goes away and we can head south and play.

it seems like everyone is cathing crabs in deeper water than last year, I wonder what is the cause for this, on Memorial day they were shallower, but now their deeper, last year in mid June they were in 4-7 feet of water, but not now.

This is wayne quarles with the Jasper Jaycees wanting to invite to the Spring Shootout at Marion County Park home of the ODBA World Championship. We are proud to have two races this year. Crabbed the river on Sunday 5/16. Ran 20 topless traps baited with chicken necks but added chunks of menhaden to kick it up a notch.
