Camera stupidly rotates pictures Why in God's name did the app developers decide that rotating pictures without asking me is good? It's unbelievably annoying and never once has it been correct. Never once. The problem with technology trying to anticipate what the user wants is the mistake.

If you shared the photos with their via Google Photos App, all photos exist as a shared album in the cloud of Google Photos, not in the app on mobile. Then, if you clicked the "save" button above the picture, those photos are saved in your Google Photos library of the cloud (in your Google account), not in the storage of mobile.

To get your 2025 pictures from your phone to Google Photos: Turn on Backup and Sync: In the Google Photos app on your phone, activate "Backup and sync" to automatically upload your photos and videos. Choose Upload Quality (Android): On Android, pick either "high quality" for unlimited storage or "original quality" which uses your storage limit.

Picasa creates a copy of your photo with all edits and moves the original to a hidden subfolder called '.picasaoriginals'. Use Save to Disk when you edit multiple photos included in an album. Use File > Save for individual pictures (or a group of pictures that you select).
