Four Seasons in Cane Bay is surrounded by homes for younger families. That was important to us, as we enjoy being in a community with varying ages. Both are planned housing developments. While Del Webb has a town center, Cane Bay has a shopping center and directly across the street from it (Nexton begins here), two shopping centers are being built.

The regions with the warmest temperatures and the longest growing seasons are the low-lying southwest Ohio valley and the Monongahela valley in the southeast. The region bordering Lake Erie also has a long growing season, as the moderating effect of the lake prevents early spring and late autumn frosts.

Every state gets four seasons in the US. It has snowed in every state in the country at some point in recent history (yes, even Hawaii and Florida). There are higher elevations of California and Arizona that get more snow annually than most parts of the Northeast and Midwest.

Where I live early summer and early winter precipitation are tied for the wettest time of year (fall and spring are the dry seasons). If I were to choose, I would go with winter though because this would mean more snowfall.
