I have to reschedule flying back to Europe due to illness next week but it's Thanksgiving week, ugh, so what is the least worst day to fly all things considering? Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. (On Thanksgiving itself).

I mean, sounds more like your family just sucks. Also, as someone who used to be a server at a restaurant that was open on Thanksgiving, if you bring your entire extended family out to eat, I hate you. Good for you. On the other hand, lots of people really appreciate the business, since people making server wages often aren't thrilled for a slow week.

I've seen Eli Roth go nuts before (The Green Inferno, Hostel) and Thanksgiving just seemed kinda...repressed. It wasn't bad or anything, there was blood and gore, but...it just seemed off compared to his usual stuff, and especially when compared to the original fake trailer from Grindhouse. Remember how crazy Hobo With A Shotgun was?

The pilgrims settled in an area that was largely devoid of native Americans because they had been wiped out by a previous pandemic, and they had peaceful relations with the remaining Wampanoag for decades.
